Summer Summary

Lots to blog about... lots and lots! First there's the preschool. I love kids. I want to work with them for the rest of my life. I have gone to school for years to learn about them so I can teach them. I love kids... but I hate preschool!!! I just can't do it! It definitely takes a special person to teach anything Kindergarten or under! It's one thing to have a kid smart mouth to you and be disrespectful (that I can handle) it's whole different thing for a child to throw a truck at your face and then bite you when you try to get them to say sorry! I COULD deal with this and accept it as part of my job, but why?! It's not worth the stress. But hey, if you would rather go home with a bloody nose instead of a headache you have my great admiration! I can stand preschool for about two months then - I'm done!
There's also this buying a house business... good grief! Bryan and I have been looking at foreclosures and HUD homes to try and get a better home for less money. Unfortunately neither of us are really the " I know how to fix it" kind of people. So We have to look for the least damaged house available in those categories. A new fence, carpet, some pain, those are thing I can handle. Damaged foundation, mold in the walls, a wall where there shouldn't be one... those things are a little out of my range. So there's that issue. There's also the stress of when to move. Which is where Bryan and I are right now. I want to move in August so that by the time our lease is up all the work that needs to be done in our house can be done. Bryan would rather wait until the last minute so that we aren't paying bills in both places at once. I see both sides... I like my reasoning better though!
I also taught my first RS lesson on Sunday. That was probably the most nerve wrecking thing I have ever done! It turned out well though. After I got myself under control and started breathing again it went really well. A RS president from another ward was there and asked if she could copy the lesson. I took that as a pretty big compliment. I sent her all of my quotes and visuals through e-mail and she responded by asking where I got my hand outs. That made me feel good about it! So yeah I guess I did ok, but I am SO glad that I don't have to do it ever again!
I still have more to talk about, but I can only sit at the computer for so long! I'll come back to finish later- hopefully I'll get some pictures up too!

My poor, stressed out little girl... I love you so much. A word of caution from your older (not so much older)parental unit... blogging is fun... it can even relieve stress after a difficult day at work... but lots of people read these things. Who knows... maybe even those folks that employ you... or the parents of little children for which your care is entrusted. Love what you do and do it better than anyone else, but be careful when putting emotions to pen... er... uh... keyboard, yeah, that's it... keyboard... you know what I mean! I love you! ~Dad

Glad to see you finally updated your blog there pot! After telling everyone else to update, lol. And your dad is right, you probably should censor what you write about your kids on here a little bit, but in your defense.. if the parents of that kid who threw the truck at you are reading this, they need to know that their kid is a little shart anyway! lol.. AND I have the perfect solution to you and Bryan's little "when to buy" dilemma. There are two or three homes for sale right in our neighborhood, not counting the new ones they just built across the street that aren't selling (that I'm sure ya'll could get a heck of a deal on). Even after the baby gets here, Ben and I will have an extra room and plenty of living space to share with you and Bryan. You guys could buy one of the houses by us, and just live with us until you get it all fixed up the way you want it. PLUS, you'd have the added bonus of having Ben SUPER close so he can help you do whatever it is that you need to do, AND ME! I'm not such a big fan of painting, but I'll do it, but any other reconstruction project, I am so game! The only down side I see is that our computer is game free. Bryan might start to suffer withdrawls after a day or two.. lol. It's lookin like Ben and I will be in hooterville for longer than I had hoped, so I sure could use some good company out there! Think about it..
