Seriously?!

Ok, so I was blog stalking and eventually ended up at this woman's blog. You have to go check it out! I like to think I'm a pretty crafty person, but...holy crap! I don't even have words for what this woman and her husband did to their kitchen! Here's a quick preview:

I KNOW RIGHT?! Who does that?! I mean seriously...

Sorry, I didn't know you were reading this!

I have to take a second and apologize. I had no idea that so many people read my blog! I don't get many comments on any of my posts so I just assumed that no one really read it. Well, you know what assuming does... So I haven't been to good at keeping my blog up to date and for that I am sorry! I will try to do better- I promise!
Ok, so here's what's been going on:
Michelle is a pro at taking her own socks off...
and placing them directly in her mouth. lol, I'm not sure why she does this, but without fail, every time- she'll take off the Left sock and put it in her mouth and then proceed to take off her right sock and try to put it in her mouth- this girl cracks me up!
She is also a big helper! We do laundry every Monday. Michelle is very good at letting me know which clothes I need to refold.

Her favorite time of day is still "wake-up" time. Whether it's first thing in the morning, or after her naps- the girl it never happier then when she gets to wake up!

This is her "crinkle face" that she's been doing lately. When she gets really excited she'll crinkle up her nose and smile really big so that she looks all squishy.

Michelle has also started to play favorites. Some days it's mommy, and some days it's daddy. When it's a mommy day the only one who is allowed to put her to bed is mommy, and the only one allowed to feed her is mommy, etc. On daddy days the only one who can make her laugh is daddy, and the only one who can get her to stop fussing is daddy- I gotta tell ya, those days are really hard if daddy has to work. But no matter who's day it is she always gives big smiles to us both!
We've also discovered which foods she LOVES and which foods she's not so fond of. Apple sauce is, by far, her favorite. Peas...not so much.

OH! And I also have to say a HUGE thank you to my cousin Becky! She gave Michelle her old bumbo seat and we use it every day! Michelle can sit up on her own now, and can even stand if she's holding on to something, but the bumbo is still so great! I love being able to sit her next to me on the counter when I'm doing the dishes, or on the chair right next to me while we're eating dinner. Thank you, thank you!
Michelle's hair is getting long enough now that we can put bows in! I can't express how much I love these bows! You have no idea how long I have been waiting for this day.
Tell me that isn't the most adorable, beautiful baby you've ever seen?! I love it!

Speaking of beautiful baby- Bryan and I enter Michelle in Regis and Kelly's Beautiful Baby search. I had never heard of it before, but we got an e-mail asking us to participate and after reading about it I couldn't resist. If she wins she'll get a $120,000 scholarship for college! If she's one of the top five she'll get a $25,000 scholarship, and the top ten get a years supply of Gerber products! So on March 1st everyone needs to log on to Regis and Kelly's web site and vote for Michelle! Right now you can find her pic on their wall (along with about fifty million other babies) under the letter 'M' and on page 90. At least that's where she is tonight. I'm sure as more people enter her position will change, but it's alphabetical so she shouldn't be too hard to find. This is the picture we entered:
So that's what's been going on with Michelle. Bryan and I are still living at home, but are in the house hunting market. Bryan starts school again on Wednesday. He'll be at school every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday until 10:00pm. And with my calling in YW I'm gone every Tuesday for mutual until 9:00pm. So for the next few months Bryan and I are going to have to make the most out of our weekends! It will be hard, but I'm sure, in the long run, it will be worth it. My mom is starting a new job in June or July; she'll have Monday's off and has offered to babysit for me while I go back to school. I'm not too excited about it, but it's probably a good idea. I've already invested four years and a couple thousand dollars into my degree- I probably should take my last few classes and graduate. Maybe after Bryan and I get into a house, and we both have our degrees, and Michelle becomes a little more independent we'll go on a vacation together. ... doesn't that sound nice? ... oh well- someday, lol!
